Lulubox or Lucky Patcher: differences and comparison

Essentially, both apps are for exactly the same thing: to patch applications. However, Lulubox is clearly focused on video games whilst Lucky Patcher’s functions are aimed at all apps in general, not only games.

Lulubox is an app that comes along with downloadable patches for a series of games (a rather short list, to tell you the truth). Once you access them, you can see that the app modifies certain aspects of each video game and we can choose whichever ones we want (greater speed, invincibility, things like that…). One of its advantages is that the process that involves downloading and installing these patches to modify apps is really simple. Anyone can use it even without any prior knowledge in this field.

On the other hand, Lucky Patcher is a much more advanced tool as it can be used on any application installed on our device, whether a video game or not, even on apps pre-installed on our operating system (however, we’ll have to be very careful if we don’t want to mess up our Android phone). It doesn’t incorporate ready-to-use patches like Lulubox but depending on the kind of access we want for each application, it generates the patch on the fly. This access is identified by means of a color code that indicates the kind of app and its permissions. It offers us several different functions: remove adverts from applications, extract APKs as backups, clone paid apps to take them to other devices… if Lulubox is meant for cheating in video games, Lucky Patcher is intended for other actions that would usually require us to make in-app purchases in each application.

Can I get banned for using Lulubox?

Yes, you can get banned if you’re caught using Lulubox. But we have to point out a few things about this statement: you can get banned if you’re using a patch for a game that is played online. That's because the values of the different games are stored on external servers owned by the developers that maintain the video game, and therefore, it’s rather hard to try to modify them as those systems are prepared to detect this kind of activity. Therefore, this kind of action would involve the immediate ban of the user in order to make sure all games are clean. In fact, if you thought that a Clash of Clans game was being hacked, you wouldn’t even play, would you? But not only will you get kicked out for using Lulubox but also any other similar app of the likes of GameGuardian, Lucky Patcher or SB Game Hacker.

However, if you apply patches to an offline game you shouldn’t have any kind of problem. Basically because the title doesn’t have to connect to any external server and those values that you’re hacking are stored on your mobile device, therefore, there’s no sort of danger at all.

Video games aren’t the only applications that can ban users for infringing the terms of service. There are others of the likes of WhatsApp where using MODs such as WhatsApp Plus or GBWhatsApp is punished by the company. The truth is that as of late they’re being quite relaxed about their use but we wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to ban all the users with MODs instead of the official application.

Lulubox or GameGuardian: comparison and differences

Although both applications can be used for exactly the same thing (to hack games), how Lulubox and GameGuardian work is quite different:

  • Lulubox: it’s based on downloading patches developed specifically for each video game. As users, we have to access the application and search for the game to be patched amongst all the available ones. Then, once we’ve found it, we have to download the patch which will be installed on the game modifying the attributes we’ve chosen. As you can see, it’s very easy to use.
  • GameGuardian: this app is different and is more similar to others of the likes of Lucky Patcher. To make it work we have to open the game in question and leave it running in the background. Then, in GameGuardian we have to search for Android’s running processes to find the video game. Once we’ve got it, we’ll have to search manually for the values of the parameters that we want to modify (lives, coins, score, inventory items…) and replace them. It’s a bit more complicated but it offers us many more possibilities than Lulubox.
On Android we can find many more games of this nature compared to iPhone mainly due to the fact that the operating system uses open-source code and users have much more freedom when it comes to downloading applications from external sources other than Google Play (no, you definitely won’t find Lulubox or GameGuardian in the official Android marketplace). Thanks to the latter, we can speed up games, modify attributes or even change the timing. Nevertheless, we have to be extremely careful because using them can get us kicked out of games.

What games are compatible with Lulubox

For the time being, the list of games with which Lulubox is compatible when it comes to modifying their attributes is quite short. We’re talking about only four games that we can find on the app’s main interface for which we can find specific patches:

  • Mobile Legends Bang Bang.
  • Garena Free Fire Battlegrounds.
  • Subway Surfers.
  • Hole.
We expect this app to expand its catalog in future updates, offering us the possibility to apply patches to other games. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that those are the only titles it can work because we can add many others allowing us to speed up their gameplay even without specific patches. For such purpose, we have to carry out the following procedure:

  1. Step 1: open Lulubox and on the main interface tap the button at the bottom of the screen labelled as +Add Games.
  2. Step 2: the next window will show you a list with all the applications installed on your smartphone. Browse through it to search for the game you wish to speed up and add it to the initial list.
  3. Step 3: that game will now appear on the main interface, so now we’ll have to select it.
  4. Step 4: you’ll see that the Game speed-up option is enabled by default. If it were disabled, we have to activate it and click on the Launch button.
  5. Step 5: we’ll have to wait for the modification to be processed and as soon as it’s finished, we can play our games much faster.
Compared to other applications of the likes of SB Game Hacker or Lucky Patcher it’s a tool with more limitations but it’s much easier to use when it comes to hacking games as we only have to install patches without worrying about searching for values to be modified manually.

How to update Lulubox

Lulubox is really easy to update. For such purpose, we only have to follow this procedure, step by step:

  1. Step 1: on the main interface, you have to go to the icon on the upper right hand side shaped as a hexagon and tap on it.
  2. Step 2: the next menu that appears will show you an option called System Update. Press that option.
  3. Step 3: at that precise moment the app will order an update and will connect to Lulubox’s servers to check for updates. If it turns out that haven’t got the newest version installed on your device, it will download the latest version. On the contrary, if your app was up to date, a message will appear in a pop-up window saying Your Lulubox is the latest version. Click on OK and that’s it.
As you can see, one of the advantages of this application is that it can be updated by itself without needing to download any other APK.

Lulubox is one of those applications that we can use to patch games and create MODs of the games installed on our phone or tablet in order to share them with other users. It offers us a rather short list of compatible games that can be hacked to gain advantages such as invincibility, more items on our inventory, changes to the speed of the game or more coins. The only drawback is that using an app of this nature isn’t very ethical as it allows us to make use of certain features that usually would only be accessible by paying. In other words, it can help us bypass certain in-app purchases.

How to install and uninstall Lulubox

Installing and uninstalling Lulubox is really easy as you’ll soon find out by reading the following step-by-step explanation. In the first place, we’ll teach you how to install it:

  1. Step 1: go to Lulubox’s datasheet by hitting the green Download button you’ll see just below. Follow the instructions until you manage to download the APK to your phone (don’t worry, it won’t take too long). However, remember to activate the option to install apps from Unknown Sources on your Android’s settings to be able to download applications from sources other than Google Play.
  2. Step 2: now go to your device’s download folder. You can also do so from the notifications bar by pressing the one that says the download of the app has been completed or from your system’s file manager.
  3. Step 3: press on the APK file and proceed to install the app, accepting all the messages that warn you about the risk of installing applications that aren’t from Google Play (no need to worry, Google is just trying to scare you and, anyway, here at Malavida all our applications go through strict antivirus controls).
  4. Step 4: finally click on the Install button and wait for the process to be completed. Once it has finished, you’ll be able to access the app just like any other one.
To be able to uninstall Lulubox you have to do exactly the same procedure as with the rest of apps:

  • One the one hand, you can search for it amongst the rest of apps, long-press its icon and drag it to the trash can at the top of the interface.
  • On the other, you can go to Settings > Apps and remove it from there.

How to speed up games with Lulubox

Speeding up a game with Lulubox is very easy although we have to bear in mind that we’ll only be able to do so if that option is available on the list of patches available for the title in question. If so, we’ll simply have to follow this procedure to get our favorite game working much faster than usual:

  1. Step 1: open the application and browse amongst the games available to search for the one you want to speed up. In this case, we have chosen Subway Surfers, as you can see in the above picture. Click on it to access its patching options.
  2. Step 2: now it’s time to search for the option to speed up the game. It’s usually activated together with the rest of the most usual actions sought by users. If not, simply press it in order to enable it. You can also disable the rest of options if you only want to enjoy a faster gameplay.
  3. Step 3: once you’ve chosen the options you want to apply, now it’s time to install the patch. You’ll find this option at the bottom of the menu, having to click on the Install button. Wait a few seconds for it to be fully installed and start playing your game with all the improvements you’ve chosen.
Lulubox is one of the best apps to hack games thanks to how easy the process is. However, you should know that patching games isn’t very legal (or at least ethical) because in many cases we’re bypassing in-app purchases which usually help its developers to earn themselves a living.
